The Project

1-800Accountant came to us with the need of creating an immersive sign-up experience for their new Entity Formation service. The goals of this project were to show the benefits of doing this through 1-800Accountant and to offer multiple paths for conversion including: an online setup, scheduling a phone appointment, and calling them directly.

 

The Solution

My solution was to create an efficient web flow that both highlights the high-level benefits on the landing page, while providing a simple, yet interactive experience that helps guide users through the flow. Rather than just creating a simple Contact Us page, I wanted this design to create excitement for the user by gamifying the onboarding experience. This design also helps capture the user’s contact information so that 1-800Accountant is able to reach out to users to talk them through the value of the service.

1. Online Setup

This flow is the quickest and simplest option to select a package and check out. This option was designed for users who already know they need this service and have a good understanding of what they need. A phone number is provided with this flow for any outstanding questions.

2. Schedule a Phone Appointment

For those users who want to schedule a call with a customer service rep, this is the best method. Users will fill out their contact information, select an available time to talk, and receive a confirmation of the appointment. From the confirmation page, the user has the option to browses packages or return to the home page.

3. Call Now

This is the most straightforward flow, which prompts the user to call 1-800Accountant directly. The flow allows the user to speak to a customer service rep and ask any immediate questions. If it happens to be after-hours, there is an option to input your contact information for a call back from 1-800Accountant for a later time.
